The new innovative demountable / fixed spectator stand from Decan is very durable, well adapted for storage and transportation if this is needed, and still surprisingly economical.

Based on extensive experience and engineering skills and mixed with the possibilities and advantages our production methods are giving, Decan has developed a new demountable spectator stand which can be used as both temporal as well as a permanent seating solution. The dimensions, shape and color of the structure and seats are adapted to the client’s needs and can be prepared for use in both outdoor as well as indoor environments.

The “base” structure of the tribune is designed as a rigid modular system solution developed aiming at conceiving a practical and strong solution as well as taking into account corresponding international normative and standards. The spectator stand is developed as a portable unit and to be easily assembled and demounted, although due to the strength and design the majority of our clients are using the stand from Decan as a permanent and fixed solution.

As the stand is composed of a series of freestanding and/or separable modules with the possibility of easy extension or reduction of the stand, the possibility exists to easily increase spectator capacity at a later stage and still complying to international norms and regulations sat by corresponding authorities and sport federations.

Some of the key features of the demountable/fixed spectator stand from Decan are:

• Galvanized steel platforms with non-slip surface and drainage holes.

• Handrails as per current European UNE security normative with non-climbable vertical safety bars.

• Safety cover/riser boards supplied as standard. Comes with incorporated safety slot for better air flow.

Decan demountable / fixed stands are designed by professional engineers with extensive experience, and the finished seating systems are following and exceeding requirements from European normative and other guidelines from relevant sources.

Related certifications and reports are also available to further confirm compliance to applicable safety and quality codes and standards;

General certificates/documents for the bleachers where it is confirmed that they are designed and fabricated in accordance with the specific European regulations / UNE/EN security normative. If project specific requirements call for specially prepared spectator stand-design, Decan will be pleased to provide you with solutions customized for any type of installation or facilities; The “standard” features can be used as a base and starting point, and the Decan engineering team will be pleased to provide you with specially adapted stands or tribunes which will fit your individual needs in terms of dimensions, shape and other characteristics.

The stand can also be built in phases if this is convenient; If for instance the spectator capacity requirement are likely to increase in the next few years, the current spectator stand can later easily be used as base for further future expansion - and without jeopardizing the aesthetical impression of the stand both with and without spectators.

Handrailings:

"Lifted" version:

If needed the stand can be lifted from ground level. This will improve the view for the front row spectators and give better space and positioning possibilities for sponsor or advertising boards etc.

Curved option:

Advanced design and production methods enable us to provide you with a spectator stand which can follow the curve of for instance an athletics track. A stand with curved continuous platforms will give a very good result also aesthetically. This type of customized solutions along with for instance laser-cut logo in the steps will make your spectator seating solution stand out and contribute to a professional image.

Access options (front/side/rear/integrated):

The exit and access aisles are designed to ensure comfortable, user-friendly and safe access to - and exit from the stands. Safety aspects, including emergency evacuation etc. following European normative and other relevant sources have been taken into account.

Access/exit to and from the stands can be customized according to the project specific needs, and can be from the front, side or rear, including the option of integrated entry/exit tunnels.

Portable entire stand modules with wheels:

Stand-modules can also be made portable with wheels for easy transport. This solution may be particularly suitable in cases where stands or part of stands are expected to be moved over shorter distances with some frequency. The stand modules can be moved entirely without the need of total demounting. The wheel mechanism can be permanent or demountable by means of simple fixation to the stand structure.

Roof/"Weather cover":

Integrated or separate sun or weather covers are available. These covers may need to be adapted to the local weather conditions.

Further customization:

The stands can be further customized according to the client needs. Some examples of customization are

• Side / rear cover (closure) in PVC, steel sheets or other materials.
• Front riser cover. (Closed option/no gaps below seat)
• Customized letters/symbols laser-cut into the steps etc.
• Structure: Galvanized, painted or both.
• Inclusion of media seating
• Preparation for TV booths
• Etc.

Decan can offer a vast variety of seat options. The seat types or models are adapted to each individual project ensuring an optimal result also with respect to user comfort and aesthetics.

The demountable/fixed stands from DECAN can be equipped with seats adapted to the client’s needs and budget. There are many types of seats and different models available, both for indoor and outdoor use; From the typical solutions for sports halls and outdoor stadiums and sport pitches – including handicap area/adaption and standard and VIP seat solutions - via multifunction facilities and to conference halls and theatre style seating. The seats can be divided into the following main types:

The tribunes can also be prepared for standing spectators. Spectator view and safety aspects remain a priority for this version as well. Anti-avalanche railings and evacuation routes etc. are well considered in the design.
