The telescopic bleachers from Decan are delivered with personalized solutions ranging from basic manual operating systems, via electric systems and to the highly sophisticated “intelligent” solutions.

The telescopic bleachers are normally fixed in one point to wall or floor, with the seat rows opening and closing from this point depending on necessity, but the bleacher can also be equipped with an elevation system which makes it possible to turn or transport the entire unit.

The seat models are adapted to each individual project ensuring an optimal result also with respect to user comfort and aesthetics.

The typical telescopic bleacher from Decan is made of a self carrying structure. The design ensures stability, resistance and safety as well as facilitates the assembly to be carried out with the highest degree of accuracy. The system includes guide rails guaranteeing supreme precision and a smooth, effortless opening and closing as well as a system ensuring that each section is extended totally parallel to the rest of the extended sections. The wheel system is designed to contribute to maximum grip at the same time as avoiding marks in the floor surface.

The motorized telescopic bleachers fabricated by Decan can be equipped (optional) with an intelligent control system which gives total control during the folding and opening operations.

It consists of advanced PLCs, PT and DRIVERS of compact motors based on sophisticated technologies and is backed up with automated control systems.

Through this system the bleachers are operating totally controlled through speed adjustments, positioning etc of the motors as the corresponding values are continuously verified, calculated and automatically regulated. The result is a smooth running telescopic bleacher where not only the overall speed is automatically adjusted, but if needed the speed of each individual motor are also immediately adjusted in correlation to the other motors to correct any type of discontinuous distribution of the modules during opening and closing of the bleacher caused by uneven floor surface, differences in friction or similar.

The telescopic bleachers from Decan are with this system also running remarkably smooth as the speed is gradually increased at the start and gradually reduced at the end of its trajectory, and in this way eliminating sharp and noisy stops and start-ups of the bleacher-unit. If the operator would like to open only one or a few of the bleacher-rows, this can also be easily programmed and controlled through the user-friendly touch screen display. For any operation the operator would like to perform, he will have total control and access to all the information he would possibly need. The screen will display everything from electricity consumption, speed and opening distance to safety indicators and alarm status. If required the bleacher can also be controlled from any computer or Smartphone with a web navigator and using determined directions and security password. Remote customer support service is also available.

Another very important factor to be aware of is that the entire system is running at 220v (electrical appliance consumption). There is consequently no need for 380v installations in the facility. By choosing the telescopic bleachers from Decan one can save large amounts of money as the electric installation work (and in electrical consumption) with corresponding cable length, time consumption etc. in most cases will be far less than when using other “traditional” systems.

Each bleacher is equipped with a acoustic and light warning indicators which are triggered in the case of alarm (rapid frequency).

Security movement sensors are installed under the bleacher. If movement is detected during opening or folding, the bleacher will automatically stop and a security warning will be displayed on the screen.(Optional)

The analogue control system installed in the bleachers fabricated by Decan Sports Equipment is equipped with all the operating and safety elements required through the corresponding normative. The control box unit leaves the factory prepared for connection to a three phase power network with neutral at 380, 50Hz.  

It is equipped with buttons for the control of the motors section-wise of the bleacher during the folding and opening operation. It is also equipped with manual stop buttons as well as a mushroom emergency button.  Each section of the telescopic  bleacher is controlled by an individual control box installed next to the corresponding bleacher to ensure visual control of the operation.

With smaller sized telescopic/retractable bleachers a manual opening and closing system could be a suitable option. The guiding system along with a strong, but light structure, allows for a smooth and effortless manual opening and closing of the telescopic bleacher. A blocking system at the first row can be installed and the telescopic bleacher can otherwise be customized to the client’s needs.

Normally the telescopic bleachers are fixed in one point (wall or floor), with the seat rows opening and closing from this point depending on necessity. However, the bleacher can also be equipped with an elevation system which makes it possible to turn or transport the entire unit:

Various elevation systems for transportation are available; 

This is an elevation system using central support and carriage. The support is situated below the first platform and is adjusted to the rest of the structure. The carriage is placed below the support to lift the entire conjunction. Manual operation. Can also be delivered with electrical fork lift.

The trolley system is composed of two gearboxes and four “steerable swivel wheels”. The elevation system is “semi-automatic”. Two trolleys are positioned below the first platform (one on each side). Operation is done via an electric screw driver which when coupled to the trolley initiates the lifting and lowering of the bleacher.

The air cushion system is designed for applications where the load is long and narrow. Two air cushions are slided under the bleacher for ease of movement and positioning. The air cushions are made of neoprene and are suitable to be used on surfaces with no gaps. (Linoleum rolls are a possible solution where the gaps are e narrow.) Air cushions distribute the load on a larger surface area than rollers or wheels. The entire structure is moved by just two operators.

Self propelled trolleys can be used for both opening and closing of the bleachers as well as lifting and transport of the entire conjunction. This system will function as both elevation system as well as an alternative operation system for telescopic bleachers as conventional motors and control box are not necessary. This system is suitable also for large and heavy telescopic bleachers. The self propelled trolleys can turn 360º and are delivered with a remote control.

The telescopic bleachers from Decan can be equipped with seats adapted to the client’s needs and budget. There are many types of seats and different models available; From the typical solutions for sports halls, via school, university and multifunction facilities and to conference halls and theatre style seating. Depending on the client’s needs, the different seat models installed on the telescopic bleachers can be combined with the same or similar seat models adapted for fixed seating, seats on removable bench rows, etc. The seats for the telescopic bleachers can be divided into the following main groups when fixed on telescopic bleachers:

The standard flooring and steps are made of multilayer waterproof birch core boards with non-slip phenolic finish. However, various other types of materials are available and can be used as options: Wood, carpet, linoleum, pvc. etc can be provided in different colours to match to the rest of the facilities/surroundings and otherwise fit the requirements of the client. The telescopic bleacher has got the corresponding corridors, access aisles and steps designed in accordance with the current safety standards.

There are various marking/lighting options available. The bleacher may be required without any lighting, or the client may opt for photo luminescent step lighting or different types of led solutions for step lighting and seat numeration;

* Standard aluminum step angles with anti-slip finish.

The step angles (without lighting) may be marked in a different colour than the rest of the step for safety.

* Photo luminescent step lighting (OPTIONAL)

Aluminum profile including anti-slip plastic with fluorescent and photo luminescent properties (phosphorescent) capable of absorbing and storing luminescent energy when exposed to any conventional light source (daylight or electric light) and emitting in dark surroundings during an extended period of time. Emitting the light without any type of human, mechanic or electric intervention. This "automated" property when activated is what makes it extremely useful in emergency situations.

* Led step lighting and seat row numeration. (OPTIONAL)

Emergency lighting through Led lights incorporated in the steps with electric power source and transformator. Front or upward facing. Can be used in combination with row numeration with electric power source.

When it comes to side closure (if this should be required), this can also be provided in various types of materials and finishes; woven material/fabric, PVC, aluminum, wood.

 * Riser/front cover. (OPTIONAL)

For the riser/front cover (if this should be required), wood is normally used with different types of finishes ; oak, linoleum, fenolic, pvc, etc. 

This railing system is an ideal solution when preparing facilities for multipurpose use.

Seat rows are easily retracted horizontally along hidden guide rails in the floor, and the system is of great help when optimizing space and adapting the area for different activities. The seats can be moved between in-use and storage position in matter of minutes. When stored, the seats are folded and occupy very little space. They can be conveniently stored under stage or similar, taking maximum advantage of available space. Displacement of seats can be manual or automatic. 

Depending on the client’s needs, the different seat models installed on the telescopic bleachers can be combined with the same or similar seat models adapted for fixed seating, seats on removable bench rows, etc. Customized transport/storage trolleys for removable bench rows are also available upon request.
